Printing and binding the handouts helps to use them as quick reference |
There are plenty of handouts out there. From time to time, servers fall down and the copies are lost in cyberspace, so I reccommend to download (so you can check them in a tablet) or print (bind them together as a reference/morgue file) those useful resources:
- Wally Wood’s 22 Panels that Always Work, simple yet effective handout about comic book storytelling with 22 panel shots. Includes Wally Wood's original handout as well as a fan-version using Wood's published panels.
- Carson van Osten handout on Mickey Comics flashes mistakes to avoid in a compact handout.
- A few notes about Inking by Michael Cho.
- How to draw unique characters by napalmnacey and her 25 Face Expressions challenge (downloadable template here)
- Mannequin studies by Andrew Loomis. Extracted from one of his books.
- Figure drawing handouts by Douglas do Amaral.
- T. Motley as cartooniologist presents his instructional handouts (downloadables as JPG y PDF).
- Drawing Theories of Bob Camp.
